From Beachy Head you have a pub just past Belle Tout at Birling Gap, or you can trundle on for a couple of miles and go to the Golden Galleon at Exceat Bridge by the 7 Sisters Country Park.

Of course the mad members can be dropped at Birling Gap and they can WALK to the Golden Galleon enjoying the view

Yep, and I have a cracker of a prize in mind

It would need to be awarded mid late december, we cant stop this year's run too early, and we have to allow for the vote to run

Good plan. We're able to do any date, just 13th was prefered. So if other members can't make 13th then perhaps one of the other 2 weekends is goer.

Well hopefully we can sort out a date by the weekend. Would be good to get it all sorted asap instead of it being all long winded.

Gonna post up the final decision on the rout once we have done it over the weekend too. So hopefully all will be sorted by sunday.

Ok folks. Were back

Proposed route. Meet at Birling Gap (great idea Udtrev) just down the hill from the Belle Tout lighthouse Beachy Head at say 11-11.30. Tea, coffee and biscuits to warm us up before setting off.

Beachy Head . . . Eastbourne . . . Bexhill-On-Sea . . . Hastings, ending at the 'Grand designs' house in Pett Level/Winchelsea.

Not sure what people want to do for food but we can either stop off in Hastings and take in one of the numerous cafe typed eateries in the 'old town', or motor on to the Smuggler's Arms near the Grand Designs House. (Plenty of free parking and only about 20ft from the beach) Suggestions welcome.

Will sort out a definate plans in the next few days so let us know your preferred dates and where you'd like to eat.

If you mean the 12th / 13th thing it was because I had set up the poll and a request came in for another date to be added. Since there had already been a vote I added the 12th December in afterwards and left that one vote where it was. I have already asked the higher powers is there any way of amending the poll so it reads 22nd, 6th, 12th and then 13th.

It wasn't done on purpose or to catch anyone out
