The wash hand basin and the sink sometimes don't drain, there is a bit of gurgling and some air comes up and they eventually drain.
The shower seems to be ok.
The plumbing is all ridge waste pipes.
Just wondering is the grey water tank vented and this is blocked?
Thanks as always

Good old sink plunger but be gentle so you dont blow the pipe apart. Consider some drain cleaner. Ask your plumbers merchant. Once it blocks you will have to be more vigilant in future as once teh pipes block it seems more difficult to prevent it happening again. I would flush the waste system with bleach solution if its to be parked up. Best of luck.

Thanks.
So I tried the drain unblocked which didn't have any impact.
While doing this, again the question of is there a vent in the grey water tank occurs as I am assuming there is some sort of external overflow soil it fills up the water from the two sinks does not come up through the shower drains

On most grey water tanks there is a vent/overflow pipe, mine has a small convoluted pipe that attaches to the top side of the tank and does spill the contents if it’s overfilled. You need to check the pipe that enters the grey waste tank as it may be blocked with debris such as hair from the shower sink and food waste from the sink, they’re normally just held by a screw connector or jubilee type clip holding the hose on.

Hello.
I have just had exactly the same problem with mine. I have been putting up with it for 2 years. The sink takes ages to drain.
I have also tried all the chemicals under the sun but nothing worked.

Well I found a solution that worked for me.
I noticed that the lid from a 2 litre pop bottle fits very snuggly in the plug hole.
Its a plastic screw lid. I made a very large hole in the middle of the cap then filled the bottle with warm water.
I then fitted the cap, placed it in the plug hole and gave the bottle a good hard squeeze.
Result!
It now empties as fast as the shower and bathroom sink.
When doing this manoeuvre, make sure the plug in in the second hole in the sink if you have one, and hold it down to stop the force of the water blowing back up. Also I did slowly empty a boiling kettle down the sink to soften everything up.

Good luck.

Thanks for this, will look at doing that.
In passing, do you think there is an over flow/air-vent on the grey water tank.
The puzzle I have is if The tank gets full will water from the two sinks come up through the shower traps, which are lower.
Its something I will try with the garden hose next weekend
