My 1994 Fire has reciently started to "buck" a bit when reversing or in first or second gear. It happens just after the clutch is let out and a pretty low RPM. I'm concerned about the clutch due to "feel" as well - but nothing concrete seems to be wrong.
So, I read the Porter manual and they speak of jutter and slip when the clutch has oil on it due to seal leakage.
Anyone comment on this, is this what I'm having?
TIA,
Auguste

Looks like it was the clutch cable - it felt weird and then I heard a grinding noise. I got down and looked and the cable was freyed and when I pulled on it from the inside, it just broke apart. We'll see what replacing it might do.
