If it in the second photo how on earth can I access that, ive dismantled the glove box etc and found nothing at all.

Not too sure if it has one at all!!!

Cheers

I don't think it has one. I could be wrong but I don't think a pollen filter was introduced until the X250 model 2006/07

Found it!!!!

I needed to take off the cover with stubby screwdriver. Then pull the filter out.

Easy really.

What cover ?
Where?
I have a Ducato manual and still can't find the filter on my 05 model (RHD)

Hi there, I'm in the same boat whereby I can't find the filter or see a cover. I have a 2006 244 Elnagh motorhome with air con - surely there is a pollen/cabin filter that should be changed from time to time. I have stripped out the glovebox and started on the heating control area but thought I'd check here first. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

The filter location for the X244 is significantly different to that for the later X250.

It is accessed from the outside, and is in part of the cabin air intake system.

I can't really describe it better than the replacement instructions provided with a Mann filter:

https://catalog.mann-filter.com/file/Product/MediaAssets/HBPqWB2t.pdf

(I know the first diagram is of a car, but the pictures are all, obviously, for the X244).

I'm not sure why there are two sets of (very similar) instructions, but I think the later models might have had a split scuttle making partial removal possible.

And also be aware that, even when aircon was fitted, the base was often supplied without the filter.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have a filter in this area and the passenger side has a large void like others I have seen. If it is not under the scuttle then I would have thought that it was inside behind the vent control area but just wanted to check. I'd expect a filter for the air con must be somewhere surley. Oh the joys..
