What would the crash sensor do?

We've done a compression test and battery swap and those were both fine.

Don't know much else to be honest, our mechanic is doing this almost as a favour which is why it's taking so long. Will ask him what's been checked so far.

What would the crash sensor do?

The crash sensor switches off the fuel supply in the event of an accident. It can also be triggered if you hit a large bump in the road or a kerb etc. Normally, you would get a warning message on the display if it was triggered.

The sensor can be reset by pressing the rubber covered button on top of it. It's located behind the passenger side kick panel. There's a small hole to put a finger through to press the button.

Few issues to sort!

The front grille has had a crack since I've had the car, will probably source a replacement from the scrappy. Does anyone know if 5dr grilles are the same?

This recent (5000 miles) tyre has developed a boob. Pressures are as they should be so guess could just be bad luck.

And one of the plastic skid plates has decided it wanted a taste of independent life. Secured the front with some cable ties but grabbing a halfrauds lifting kit so i can repair it.

And lastly the recently replaced rear section of the exhaust is blowing again. It seems to be the black section before the flexi. The exhaust bends upon that point under acceleration and drops by about two inches.

But otherwhise the Stilo is running fine and sits pretty too!
