I am a new owner of a used Multi 2000 W-reg 1.9TD ELX.
The headlights do not work on dipped. The sidelights work, as do the main beam and instrument lighting. This is with the ignition on and/or the engine running. I went out yesterday, and for the first time with this car, came home when it was dark. Thank goodness for front foglamps, which at least got me home.
Not having a handbook doed not help, and the vast number of fuses make a bit for a bit of a nightmare. I tested the bank of 15 fuses in the most accessable place under the driver's glovebox, and took out the wiper fuse to see if that is the diagram on the inner lid of the glovebox. The light symbols on that set of fuses relate to 10a fuses, and these check out ok.... The other fuses below this bank were out of my sight/reach and some have those "cages" on so I have not ventured into that territory.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
A New experience, and loving it!
