True, just thought the hammock ones would be more comfy tho. Also thought it was going to go for alot more than it did and my limit would have been about £150. May just buy a bigger tent so Mandapanda can be tucked up too LOL

who bought it ?
after reading the beginning of this thread i decided not even to look on e-bay .but would still love a tent as well !

:( Blimey, sorry if I put any one off bidding at the end there. Genuinely intended to got to £150 but about an hour from the end of the bidding, when I went to log in to watch the sale to the end and bid, E-bay went tits up on my machine. Still haven't got compete access back but mostly there now. Truly sorry that my getting in to a pickle may have stopped a forum member from having a last minute punt. Many many apologies folks. :(

And Mandapanda, gues it doesn't go toward the Panda fund just yet, but toward paying off the Multipla. Getting there slowly. Trying to control myself until I've paid it off but would have had the tent at that price. Too good to miss. Bloody computers! :)

Lol. You and me both. Dad kept saying, go on, put a ton on it. I'm say A) we haven't got the money and B) when would be use it. lol.

I've just done a classic example with the headlight protectors I've just got off of ebay. Was going to max out at £10 but just paid around £20 for them:eek:. But I think its worth it.:D

In answer to the question posed by Gina in her post, number 22 of this thread, the tent was won by Ebay user " moggyjones " in South Yorkshire. Not clear if the buyer frequents the forum.
Rgds.

The comedy of all this is that I've never bought anything off of ebay, and only ever bid once!

I actually quite despise ebay, particularly for cars as I would have to view any potential purchase first, obviously. I ain't going to bid £300 on a Panda without seeing it, no matter how well it was described or how good it looks in the photos. And and I ain't gonna drive for four hours to look at a £300 car, obviously. Cos by the time I've done that to look at three or four dodgy motors, I've spent that in fuel.

It's tricky. Ebay has this nasty habit of attracting you, then teasing you, then disappointing you! And sometimes making a fool out of you!

Bloody computers, he says again!;)

It is tricky, and normally I'd agree, but I brough my Selecta Blind, on the view of, if its just been MOTed and has only done 15500 miles in total what could be wrong with it for a BIN of £350. Called the people, checked all was legit, and found out that it was cheap because they were moving abroad and needed a quite sale:D
