Technical Panda Ignition Antenna

I want to replace the immobiliser aerial on the ignition lock. At first glance it looks like I only need to remove the lower steering column shroud but the Haynes manual implies that I have to remove the airbag and steering wheel in order to remove the shroud and access the switch.


Do I really need to remove the steering wheel to remove just the lower shroud?

I replaced the ignition switch on my mutijet and there was definitely no need to remove the wheel...

Thanks for the advice. I've just replaced the antenna and didn't need to remove the wheel.
