Hey all been on this forum a while but never got round to introducing myself....I live in belfast northern ireland and have a bit of a thing for panda's.....:D

Last year with I decided a panda 4x4 was the answer to the bad weather....that decision proved harder than finding a good one at sensible money....they all disappeared and re-appeared for 3k more 2 days later and being over in ireland made a quick move difficult. I saw one in aberdeen, silver, 18k and mint, it was sold straight away but the guy rang me a week later to say the buyer had not followed through and I was next on the list...I jumped on a plane the next morning!

Well having had a panda 4x4 with vredestein snowtrac 3's over the winter as a daily, I was so impressed with it that I bought a 100hp also.

100hp is great, feels low and go-kart like after the 4x4 and feels like it's always wanting to play....engine sounds great too. The interior is a good place to be with bluetooth, climate etc...it's an 07 with 15k miles and popped up for sale right beside me. Was serviced at 13k miles but that was nearly 2 years ago so I've booked it in with the local specialist for a full service on monday. Looking forward to getting to know it better!

The 4x4 has also been superb, bought with 18k before the winter now on 26 and hasn't cost me a penny other than doing the timing belt on time rather than miles, a brake servo/master cylinder and of course the winter tyres. Anyone considering one....don't be put off by the reports of slow-ness. Ok it won't set the world on fire but low gearing makes it feel nippy and it will cruise at 80 if asked.....but unlike many basic small engine cars it has bags of character and felt totally secure in any road conditions I've come across so far.

some pics.......

Nice one I have always liked the 4x4. I have just got the wife a 100hp but I am sure I have driven it more than she has over the last week.

Nice Pandas :)

Nce to see you get the best of all worlds with them :D

Me bad but at first I saw the title and thought here we go, someone wanting to ruin 2 cars and make a 100hp 4x4  I'm pleasantly surprised (y)

Au contraire Blackadder - a Panda 4x4 with 110bhp is truely fabulous and undoubtedly the best of both worlds! Not that I'm biased at all of course....(y)
