Update! I've just put a deposit on a 1973 RHD 500L, it's has been in storage for 30 years, so will probably just insure and drive it with nothing needed to be done....

Further Update! Some weight reduction has been going on, for example the battery tray is no more, same for what was beneath it! This should be fine because at least any fuel leaks will just run out of the holes.
