Hi everyone,
I want to replace my oil sump in 1.2 169 but I would prefer to avoid using silicone as sealant... the job would be much easier (and safer) using a gasket. Since it was fitted in factory using silicone I was wondering if it would be possible to make my own gasket out of gasket material. My only worry is that the grove that was meant to accommodate silicone would create any issues.
Any thoughts?
Cheers!
