Technical Oil leak around injectors

Grab myself a bargain and picked up another old Ducato X250 last week.
Does anyone know what this oil leak is around the injectors and if it is a simple job to repair?

What is the "oil" engine oil, diesel or carbon muck from a leaking injector seal in the cylinder head?

2 litre, 100 multijet and It’s definitely engine oil.

I am guessing yours is the 8 valve Peugeot engine?
I would look at the breather pipes etc./ or a cracked plastic inlet manifold.
You may need to wash it down to locate leak.
Has the manifold or cam cover been off and the old gasket reused?
Or if the bolts have been overtightened it can crack around them.

2.2l Puma engine.
As said previous you need to clean it up and start from there. Start with a good hand wipe down with cloth & degreaser.

Oh! I thought you said it was a 2.0 litre 100 multijet, whereas the 2.2 as @Kahcorp mentions is the Puma of around 122hp.

See what engine series number on chassis vin. plate.
Have you got the V5c/log book for engine cc.?

There is a 2.0 litre diesel that had nothing to do with ford /psa but we need more info.....what year for instance? What cc?
Post number plate if you don't have v5c I can check cc and model

Fiat Doblo did offer a 2.0 litre version of the MJ the 263A1.000 135Hp, but the one I was thinking of in the Ducato was the (RHX) DW10ATED or the (RHX),( RHW),(RHG),(RHV),(RHK) all Peugeot based at 1997cc.

There are rubber seals between plastic valve cover and injectors
Injectors need to come out to replace rubber seals so you will need injector base seals copper and steel ones , don't mix up injectors between cylinders , new stretch bolts for the injector hold downs.
Plus other bits I don't recall.
Check breather valve in valve cover or replace if you fancy.

Be very careful with the leak back tubes .
It is a great very tough engine with great parts availability

My Autodata has that 2.2 down as a 4HV?
