My L reg 1994 Cinquecento (and for that matter my P reg 1997 F*rd F*iesta 
) have at some time had their number plates replaced with the current style where the letters and digits are narrower than the originals. I know there are bigger problems in the world but they stick out like a sore thumb to me!
There are plenty of suppliers of number plates for cars of the 1970s and earlier, but what's the situation with more recent vehicles with 1983-onwards prefix plates? Is it possible to get hold of the correct style for these or are we stuck with the narrow font?
