Nürburgring trip in the summer? (Checking interest)

I am in process to organise a trip.

I have spoken to the track manager and there is a lot of days already booked.

If we can get enough people together it is worth booking the track for the day.

This would be awesome fun, lack of passport is my biggest hurdle to overcome but will try to get that done early in the new year, in case this takes off!

Make sure you do it nice and early. Took me foookin ages to get mine "off peak" season too I may add!.

Hmmm I havent heard that before but if you arent very experienced with driving i would have a re-think. If you write your car off and you damage the armco you have to pay for that. Pay to get your car taken off the track etc.

You wont be covered with your insurance on this on normal insurance.

:chin: This has got my interest now. Depending on finances at the time I reckon i'll be up for this - won't be in a Fiat though. Have to check insurance to see if european cover included , for anything else there's the gap insurance :devil:

yeah, but we aint going round there at f1 type speeds, nowhere near, as for the gti, my shui could keep up with an r32 in the twistys, must have had bigger balls than him

I will be on the ring this summer, I'm planning on driving from Bournemouth to Athens via the ring, and all the way though italy. so i could start the journey off with you lot, then leave you for the rest of my trip.

be advised, i have started one of these threads every year, and people always lose interest/run out of money.
