Hi guys, just a suggestion about meeting up. Have you checked the events calendar as there is a big event planned in the Nottingham area, at Hardwick Hall, on Sunday 18th August and the FF will be there in full force? If you have never attended an official FF event then this would be a great way to meet fellow members, events team officials and some of the mods. As always there will be free drinks, a BBQ at lunchtime, hopefully lots of cake + plenty more.

I'd be interested in doing this meet up too, do too much pottering locally in the Abarth and would be nice to go for a burn :) Matlock for chippy chips sounds good. Nice ice creams there too. Could always meet up briefly at the car park at Cromford Canal for a photoshoot, some nice hills fields and sheep in the background!
 
I could do any weekend in July, either Saturday or Sunday. Yes I have no life to speak of lol. How does mid July sound to people, say 13th or 14th? Think we should not get too near the Mitcar day at Hardwick Hall. Guess the 20 or 21st could be ok. Could we do a poll of these 4 dates to see which is most popular? Opinions?

Being about as far north in Nottinghamshire as you can get (Worksop) once we decide on a day we can think of a suitable place to meet up, a route for a bit of a convoy and then a suitable stopping off point for chats and refreshment. I favour chippy tea myself but other suggestions are welcome! Shame most people would have to pay to get in Clumber Park as this would be a lovely location for a photo shoot and there's a nice cafe :) Rufford park is cool too and parking is cheaper but not as good for photo ops. Any more suggestions?
 
I know plenty of nice places in notts and outside of notts for great photoshoots, but it depends if people are willing to drive far for a photoshoot or not:)

Photos of my car on my thread are half nottingham based areas and latest ones are slightly out of nottingham like off the a610.

So if people dont mind driving out of notts for a great photoshoot then I know just the place for one!!!

The choice is yours guys!

Great place for photoshoots but one downside not great for people who are either slammed or lowered.

I believe the OP is but I think homeward is helping seeing as he started up Midlands Italia :)

And first piccie is Alport....good luck finding it if you intend to go by yourself haha its a really high up place but amazing view and nice to sit up there for a picnic or just to admire the view, in my case it was for a photoshoot of my fiat :p

If that place gets enough votes for photoshoot ill lead everyone there! :)

I love the sound of that mate! The chippy in matlock bath is the best ever, but if we going matlock I dont think I could stop myself from going on the 2p machines!:D
