Just as a comparison my 4x4 mjet has just completed a roughly 600 mile journey from Leeds to Somerset. Mainly motorway driving to get there, then around 100 miles driving on local roads visiting places etc. Just got home and checked the consumption 71mpg for the trip, which I'm pretty pleased with. Car is just under a year old 6000 miles on the clock.
