I've just installed it on a punto GT. Just 35BHP at the moment only finished it tonight. It is a nitrous express system.

this months max power has a big section all about it. main thing seems to be to remember to close the bottle when you've finished with the car otherwise the next morning when you turn on the ignition loads of nos with flood into your engine, not good apparently!

Nitrous Oxide.
Shows what Max Power know, the NOS is controlled by an electronic valve that is switched by the accelerator, when you don't press the pedal nothing comes out.

no they just said that there can be slight leakages from the bottles if not done up. how can you say they dont know aht they're on about? i admit i dont hink its a particulaly great mag and the cars arent always that great but they have s**thot jobs and they do know what they're on about really

The bottle should be closed whenever u arn't using it, but when u close the bottle the nitrous still in the feed line at 1000psi could still leak through if what they say is true, this is unlikely as the pressure actually holds the solenoid valve closed. I think NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems, a company that makes kits.

For anyone who doesn't know

Nitrous oxide is an oxygen rich gas which when injected with extra fuel burns the fuel to produce more power it also has a cooling effect as it turns from a liquid to a gas which produces more power.:)

"they have s**thot jobs and they do know what they're on about really"

I know a few people at Fast Car magazine and believe me those jobs are s**te. Driving hundreds of miles to talk to another little spoilt kid with a modified shed, they have to sound interested and be polite to every little turd they meet.
There are a few things in the MP contracts that are a little s**t too.
Out of all the Mags, MP know the least. They very much rely on what they read/get told/ info they are sent. Im sure the Revs lads help out with the technical stuff.

too be honest if you want to read a proper modifying magazine i suggest ccc (cars car conversions) the amount of knowledge they have is amazing. the mind boggles as they talk about degrees and minutes of camber, toe-in toe-out, bottom ends.............

I'm also fitting it to my GT i have it running @ 172 BHP now -- so i thought i would try a 25 shot first -- i know the pistons in the GT are only good for about 195 BHP -- so i think it'll be close to the limmit --- wish me luck guys:p:p:p

Bad news is that GT pistons are good for about 180.
