General no heating !!!

just returned from a 200 mile trip in me panda ,and i have just lost all hot air to the inside of the car .i.e no heater just cold air! .it happened at about 125 miles into the journey .i was only doing a steady 75 average speed .as i have been having trouble with my thermastat (it only sits at half way between 50 and 90 ) i was wondering if this may have something to do with my heating problem ,but my thermastat has been like this for a while nowand i half allways hot hot air threw the vents with or without heater on so can anyone offer a explanation ?

no coolant loss of any kind

souns like you might have a fault with the flap that control the flow of the air inside the car,check the cables etc on the heater sliders and see how it goes

when i bought my panda it gave out only cold air.. finally i pulled the heater matric apart and found out the cable that attaches to it (and goes the the temperature control on the dash) had come lose.. Now it works great but i can't turn the damn thing off!! lol. I don't mind i got dual sun roof i've also had a problem where i got a big air bubble in the matrix.. you can get this out by locating a small bleed screw on the pipes just behind the air filter..

If you are brave.. pull the matric casing off and disconnect the pipes and check there pumping hot water to the matrix... if they are not then its something.. umm, rather more
