Went out this morning to start the Bravo to let it run and heat up whilst I defrosted the windows etc. Got in the car and tried to start it and it refused to start. It just turned over and over and over. Twice I tried starting it with no success.
I then put the accelerator pedal to the floor and turned the key and this time it came to life as normal
A slight splutter as it started but I put it down to being a very cold start. But as soon as it fired up it ran as smooth as normal.
It was the first very cold night here. It's been below freezing over the past few weeks (-2), however, this morning was the first bitterly cold night (was -6 on the dash when it eventually started) and it was a severe frost as well over night. Thought it had snowed at first it was so bad.
What do you think the problem was? Or is the Bravo going to be a bad starter in really cold mornings? Living in Scotland through the winter the mornings at 7am etc when I am heading to work are regularly around the -3 to -6 range if not lower sometimes so having the Bravo struggle to start in these temperatures is not good.
