Hi All....new member here. Have a lovely 1970 Fiat 500L, red with black sliding sunroof with red and white interior. Have owned a couple of new Fiat 500's....one being the Gucci model. They are gone now but have a couple of cousins to the Fiat....2017 Maserati Levante and 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. All related via the Stellantis ownership.

Have a question about the ignition wiring placement on the spades. I was fiddling with the rubber housing that slides over the wiring to protect them and evidently a couple got pulled off the spades. I took a look at the back of the ignition by lying down on the floor board and looking up.....not comfortable at all! and there are several spades and none are color coded. So the question is i have a black wire and a blue wire.....which spade goes with which wire? Any help would be great. thank you.

this is a stock picture from Ricambi but it is exactly what i have. so not sure exactly where to put the wires on?

You may be able to work out with multimeter what the teminalsall do. You will have an ignition circuit with an on off You will have a starter circuit sending power to the starter solenoid. You may possibly have a permanent live and an earth .If you apply power you should be ble to identify these at nthe switch. I would try and work backward from there. Eper the software for spares may also give you info. Have a look in the menus above

gotcha...will dig out the fluke meter. can you tell me how to take this off or do i need to disassemble the steering column?

i am ordering a new fuse box and fuses as the current one is wildly corroded and attempts to clean it have proven useless. All the fuses should be 8v...right?
