Went out yesterday to check the secret location for the photos, the issue is going to be keeping the 500s together for the 15 odd minute scenic drive, I suggest someone who knows the area to stay at the back in case we cant all keep together. Or, perhaps Jen could ride in another car to give directions?

Its a straightforward route, and at the end is a long straight road for Lloyds moving shots, and there are various parking areas up the road for a big group shot too. Looking at the times, if we leave the pub at 10:45 latest it gives us a good hour or more for all the pics:)

Now that's what I call dedication and regarding the tail gunner bit I think Lloyd is travelling alone, that is unless a boss eyed schoolgirl has stowed away. :D

We are still on target to attend. Hope to arrive around 10 am and would like to have a meal too after the 'secret' scenic drive.

Look forward to meeting you all. How do we all identify ourselves when we enter the pub? Don't want to end up with the local knitting group by mistake!! :D

Just to let you know that I have confirmed with the Swan this evening and all is OK. I have booked for 26, as there are 24 on the list, but Yellow Luigi said they were coming and haven't checked in! If we get any others they'll have to sit on laps!!

I am away now until Saturday evening, so I'll check back in then.#

Otherwise look forward to meeting you all on Sunday.

T ;)

Heavy showers it says, so might be dry now and then for Lloyds pics.

Even if it's raining I'll still be taking plenty of photos, I'll just have to utilise any nearby puddles for some nice reflection shots!

See you all in the morning anyway, I'm off to watch The Dark Knight. (y)

What a lovely day that was, good turnout and we had a good run out in the forest too. Nice to meet up again, heres my pics of the day....

fantastic pics Barry and this time you got your's on first!!!

Great to meet you all today, had a lovely time and really enjoyed our little jaunt through the forest.

Hope Mrs Tango is feeling better soon.

Looking forward to doing it all again at the IOW Fun run!

Just got home, ended up convoying with the white car with red stripe (can't remember username on here?) most of the way back. I only ended up with him since I pulled into the service station to get some Red Bull as I was falling asleep! Got myself a Lee Evans CD too. :)

Was a very good day, was a pleasure to meet everyone (some of you again!) and I got some good photos to add to my collection, they will be uploaded as soon as I can get the gallery to work.

Gallery won't work so have to attach them.

We saw you getting on the M27 and were on the A road parallel to the motorway, were spying on you for a mile or so!

more lovely pics - I was too busy chatting, so will get the pics Pete took on here soon.

Lloyd, that must have been either notts or, possibly snowball. What a great day, it was so nice to put faces to the names of a few more members and really nice that some people were keen enough to travel quite long distances to be there.

Special thanks to NP for the guided tour, Baxwalker for listening to my clutch noise, Mr & Mrs Notts, who I think travelled the furthest, Snowball for not winding Mick up with her shiny wing, Booklady (of course) who instigated the whole NFM culture, in fact thanks to everyone who turned out and made it a great day.

 Oh! and not forgetting Lloyd (official 500 photographer).

Here's to the next one, wherever it may be.
