General New doors?

Does anyone know if is is still possible to buy new doors for the Uno from Italy? Desira advised they are no longer available in the UK.

Is it possible to fully remove rust from an old door?

There is always rust in that bottom seam, isn't there... It is difficult to re-construct the bottom edge of the door while maintaining the flat surfaces (distortion from welding is a real problem).

Just an idea but I'd have thought that South Africa or India were more likely to have new doors than Italy, since Uno production continued there into the 2000's (stopped in Italy in 1994). Of course there are likely to be aftermarket panels available too.
