i guys i have been working on my cinq and this the results.

IIRC, banded wheels aren't legal over here.

You would when they come apart.

The reason they are frowned upon is that they are potentially very weak. To band them the wheels are cut in half and a band of metal is welded between the 2 halves of the rim. You therefore have four edges of metal butt welded together. 2 old edges, 2 new. The old rim and new band are potentially of subtly different specification.

If you do this the better way of doing it is to take the centre out of the wheel, and put the centre into a completely new rim.

You seriously do not want to be messing with banded rims IMHO.

Ah right, well i have driven my car around in a dangerous state many a time , but don't fancy my wheels falling apart!

Liking the cinq No keen at all on the rear light masks. If it were me i'd take them off and do the b-pillars in black vynil and jobs a good'un
