General New 600 Hybrid 136 La Prima on order

After much to-ing and fro-ing we have just ordered our new car, in black. We've spent a good few months looking at other marques and models but in the end this seems to suits our need (two retired "potterers"). We had a drive of a model in basic spec with the less powerful engine, and it was okay but certainly not so peppy as our 500x 1.4 multicair in sport mode. When stock became available we then tried the more powerful and we're happy with it. A bit of research here and questioning the dealership workshop confirmed that this engine has a metal timing chain (so no potential wet belt issues). The auto gearbox seems fine.
We still were not quite convinced but then pastel black became available - so we went for it. It does look good (on the screen) in black. Dealer says might be August deilvery (apparently Fiat have under estimated demand for La Prima spec).
