Punto (Mk2/2b) my yellow ting

Cheers homeward,;)

suspension aint too bad,not saggy anyway..just the squeak,

the suspension on these is as stiff as a board,
drove my son's 8v active round the yard and its like heaven on the old spine compared to this,

isuffer with neck & back pain so iknow what you mean,
ionly drive this about 2-3 days aweek, somedays ilove it and somedays its
too hard on my back so it goes back in the garage,

its brilliant for motorways, but on rough roads its abump finder,
its killed a few cd's in the past so ive resorted to copying cds and putting the good ones away:(

Bits of my neck are already held together with titanium screws and plates....

we should form the Punto owners with dodgy spines club, i've got two slipped discs which is why I often prefer driving my nice squishy punto over the other halfs Mini which has no squish

New Mk2 Shocks are about £25 per side from most places

good idea mate, ;)

sorry to hear about the slipped disc's. painful at times aint it, :(
its one of the reasons im a troll on this here forum, keeping ocupied helps too blank out the pain, ..ah well less of me mumbling and grumbling... thanks for the good info over the past months, especialy the advice on the airbags, (y)

Update, not much happening realy,
just electrical gremlins, battery is fubar so need anew one,& airbag ecu,
(Thanks for the help on that andy & SandB) (y)
its off to the Body shop soon, spoiler resprayed/skirts..rearbumper,
faded due to age, and wings are 2 shades out, so iwill get that done,
iwill repaint the alloys whilst there doing there job,

just bought another one in blue, a year younger with less miles :)
so the yellow one will get coverd up and put into storage when paint work is finished,

floor welded up today.

besides that..took it out in the sticks for some go-karting fun,

heres some pics,

PS: Car's looking good... -- and I covet your mirrors...! :slayer:
