So bought this car at the end of October 2013, admittedly I was in a bit of a rush to get a car because I was starting a new job I had to travel in the middle of the night for so I took a gamble with this one. Normally I'm very picky, but I needed something to get me from A to B reliably.

And wow, what a car she is. As you will see in the pictures, there's a scrape along the passenger side and surface rust along passenger door. Aside from the cosmetic downfalls, the car has started first time every time, has done 4000 miles since I bought her and the only thing that has let me down was the PAS. Finding time (and decent weather) to replace the strut mount bearing on drivers strut as I'm getting a clunking when turning left and the bearing is the culprit. But anyway here she is!

I have too lol

Yeah, time is hard to come by with a 7 week old son though

Any tips for the dents and scrapes?

id get a grinder on the bottom of door,
dont grind to deep mind ..just take off the scabs,

you can get body filler now thats got metal in ..iforgets what its called.
give it a fine skim of that sand it down and primer and blow in the top coat with rattle can,

the rest of it id just wash & give agood polish until youve got some free time,

Sounds good, got an MOT to get through on Friday and there is unfortunately some welding to be done. Just hoping the costs don't mount up too much which will give me a bit to play around with for sorting the scrape and door out.

Just passenger side jacking points, whoever had the cat before me didnt look after it as far as undersealing is concerned, also a rust hole just behind my backbox. Been quoted £120 for welding, that includes Labour. Normally I would scrap a car if welding needed done, but this car has started every time even on the coldest mornings so would be a shame to let her go for a few rust holes.
