Tis is my 4x4 Sisley from June 1988, he already run 245000Km, and its still going on
My mane is Agostinho, i live im Barcelos, a little city in the north of Portugal, and in aprox. 2 months i will go live to there in Watford.
There is some Panda Club in UK?
Awesome photos, were you actually driving down the river or had you been swept away . How did you stop water getting in the engine, can't see a snorkel.
Welcome to the forum.
Im driving im a smal lake, as you see in the photo there is a small wave in front. I cam drive in water until a depth of 0,5 meters, only removing the air entrance pipe of the filter, and isolating the distributor cap with am appropriate spray.
This is the best club in the UK for all fiats (my opinion), so i wouldnt even think about joining any other club (i should know ). Instead of paying a membership for a club, donate the money to this forum.
No! This photos are takem in the mountais arround my house, i have a lot of pics like this, usuly i, and some friends gatered in the weekend and we make some journey in the north Portugal mountains. It´s really fun, only friends, panda's and the nature in is pertfect state. To see more fotos like this visit http://gap.panda4x4.net in the section fotografias.
Looks uncannily like my 1987 Sisley, which is the only grey one around as far as I know. Mine has the additional bullbars and my spotlights are set into the front grill. Also, lot better condition than mine, from what I can see. Very impressive pictures of it in action. Mine stalled when going through a flash flood puddle last summer in Latvia but restarted after I let it stand for a while to dry the engine out.
Yes, its easy to put the engine on after such a thing. We only need to unplug the sprakles turn on the motor awayt that the water comes out, srapy with "redex bala", plug the sprakles and its run again. Panda is really a great car )
First generation, its the Country Club that you normaly see, second generation, it´s look like a trekking, but FIAT called Country Club, the colors are white, bordeaux and green
Soon I will post more detailed photos about the two generations
