General My new Punto

I just bought an ex demonstrator 2002 Punto Sporting SpeedGear yesterday, and to say that I'm over the moon with it is an understatement!

I took it for a test drive last Saturday and liked the car so I decided to buy it. After driving it quite a bit yesterday and now I'm used to the automatic and sequential gearbox, it is an absoloutly (sp?) lovely car to drive. If I didn't know it was a 1.2 and somebody told me that it was then there's no way that I'd believe them . The engine is sooo lively.

If anyone is considering buying one of these I couldn't recommend it more highly. It is by far the best car that I have driven to date. (And I've driven quite a few cars!)

Did you buy the black Speedgear from St Erth Fiat?! I looked at that one it's soooooooooo pretty!! IF not then YAY anyway!

Dont have my punto yet but will in December. Congrats on the cool car!

Yep, that's the boy. Its been up there for ages, but I couldn't afford it when I saw it before. I've been looking for a new car for a couple of weeks and suddenly thought on Sat that I hadn't been to St Erth. So, up I went. I took it for a test drive and fell in love with it straight away.

Getting a few Cornish on here now!

If it's the black one, I've driven that one in the past and it's brilliantly kitted out - sat nav and everything.

I paid £9995 for it in the end. Got 12 months tax, car mats and some fuel in it as well.

I'm well happy with it. I've just gotta keep on working my arse off to pay for it! Worth it tho.

Yep, it's the black one. The sat nav is cool, only thing is that its the '00-'01 version, I need to get hold of the '03 copy!

Yeah, I thought that. I've got used to it now tho. I use auto most of the time anyway!
