Hi ppl

a few pics of my new exhaust that was fitted yesterday by the good ppl at longlife, leeds. top blokes worked bloody hard on it, they had to take it off a few times to get it right cause of the fuel pipe that was in the way.

let me know what you think good and bad comments welcome.

Thats nice I like it how much did they charge for a job like that, looks quality.
 
Thanks all, I went for the mid-sport sound suits me well didnt want it too loud just to sound good when ive got my foot down,

full system from cat back, its skint me at 470 but think it is well worth it, like i say they had it from 8:30am up until 7:30pm and worked bloody hard i was there for the last 3 hours cause they said it would be ready at 4:30pm but came across the fuel pipe problem.
 
they did the cutaway for us, loads of stuff in mind.

looks savage, hoping to get the same for my car. Out of interest what make is your backbox?

He had it made at long life so they made the whole system from the cat to tail pipe ..good craftsmanship from that company as I personally know the guy who trained all their staff here in Cardiff ..just let be say tho that if you are expecting a performance gain from theirs system then you wont they are custom builders and not performance builders of systems :)

It might just be in my head but i have noticed small gains in power but not loads, if you are looking for that then wait for the gsr to come along.
 
You could well get a small gain and that would be due to the way the standard centre and back boxes are made ..fiat standard system is totally restrictive by design and the long life one not so due the the packing in both boxes :) I take it they followed the original diameters of the pipe work on your 1.6 Gar 2" from cat on the front pipe to centre box and reduces to 1 and 3/4" from then on with a 2" tail pipe ?
