a wise upgrade (y)

it may work out cheaper in the long run.

Yes that is what i was thinking, i am going up again Saturday to check all areas out on it, inside & out, engine/ electrics/ check for sign of leaks, as its done a few hundred miles this will be a good time to check the engine when its running, can also listen out for any rattles inside the cabin as well:D

Well i went up today and got the paperwork all sorted out properly this time as alarm and parking sensors were not on the last lot of paperwork.
Had a good look around it today inside and out and in the engine bay and boot.
As soon as we got to the garage i wasnt to pleased to see that the car was still in the test drive bay, and when as i said i checked the engine bay i noteced heat coming from the engine, Now when i agreed about buying the car he said it had 330 miles on it and at the most no more than 100 more miles would be put on there, checked the milage this morning, 725 miles on it now !, a tad more than 100 more miles on 330 like he said.
I did ask him why has so much more milage been put on it and that i was concerned that damage could happen to it while it was still being used as a demonstrator.
Apparently it still will be used until Sept which is when some others come in, then they can use one of them rather than my one, I can see that it will probably end up with over 1000 on the clock which i have to say i am not all that pleased about, not to mention any stone chippings that may occure while it is still a demonstrator:(
Am i being to fussy or would you guys feel the same, if so do i have any rights to say to him stop using it, as i have payed a deposit, or dont i legally have a right to do so as it is there right to carry on using it as a demonstrator until a specified time stated by FIAT.

It would be over £1000, cant afford to spend anymore money than i am already.
Guess i will have to live with the situation:(

With extra's on it already, metallic paint/Dual climate control i am paying £13.995, adding parking sensors to it is another £200 £14.195 total.
If i go for same spec but on a 57 plate it will be £14.295 without any extras, with the same spec as i am getting with metallic paint/dual climate control and parking sensors it would be £15.230, another £1035 that i would have to find which i just can't do.
But to be quite honest i am happy with what i am getting even though i was a bit concerned about the milage, I have been assured that it will not be doing much more demonstrating now if any:)

I wouldn't be happy about that if it was me. I thought if you placed a deposit on something, whether its a car, house, whatever, then its considered yours until you've paid it off. Just because its not in your hands just yet doesn't mean others can use in the meantime.

I did mention about it still being used at the moment, it is because of an alloted time specified by FIAT that they have to use it to, I was assured that it would only be used if it was really necessary, and if so would be accomponied by staff and not let out unattended.

Even though i have paid a deposit, until i come up with the remaining amount that it costs which wont be until Sept, i dont really think there is much i can do unfortunately.
I will check it out properly again when i do go to pick it up, and if there is way over the amount of milage quoted, and if theres any stone chippings over it then i will have to reconsider, but until then its a case waiting until i can get over there with the remaining amount.
