Hi I need help my fiat is make a funny sound kind of like when a boat motor has a salt build up one minute it drives fine then it kicks into limp mode and sounds like it's running on 2 sparks what to do?

I have changed spark plugs
My water box recently cracked so I had to replace it
I have changed the feul sensor
Its

I have put it on a diagnostic test it cant read anything that's wrong.

Probably a wrong scanning tool. Find a decent one which works with FIATs.

Until you get a decent code reader, try unplugging each coil pack (one by one in turn)

If the rough running remains the same then you've found your dodgy cylinder (then you can make further checks like spark plug condition etc) , if it goes worse it's not that cylinder.

If the symptoms get worse on each cylinder , then it's probably some other area, like a crank sensor or whatever.
