Hello,
Just signed up because my 2004 Multipla (new shape) is getting more and more problems and the dealers here in South Africa tell me when I need repairs that they can't get parts because the parts aren't even listed on their system. Two parts that I need that they can't supply are the aircon pump and an ABS sensor. I tried to book a service in March and was told I'd have to wait as there were no Multipla oil filters in the country and they would have to order from Italy. Said it would take at least six weeks. I should probably chase them up. Now the tailgate won't open, which is what lead me to this site. Thanks to a thread I now know that it is probably a microswitch that has failed and that there is an emergency release accessible from inside, so that helps a bit. Anyway, I will be searching around and trying to find answers to let me keep my car going. It's in pretty good shape for an 18-year-old car but as more things fail that can't be fixed I fear the prospect of buying another car is on the horizon.
