I've not needed to use a 3-pin.., as it's old tech. would've suited our old 156

The bravo/a section has the majority of the info..,

as it's only 3 wires and a croc clip the power has to come from elsewhere..

hopefully the MES site helps in this respect..

Bit confused now as the older 3 pin cables come with a crocodile clip to do what i dont know, maybe to add power to the line?

Hi,
The flying lead with crock clips are for 12V power to the interface. They can go to any handy 12V point.
