General Move spare wheel mech.

Has anyone moved the spare wheel mech from drivers side to passenger side? Is it do able. Wanting to swap to passenger side for a bit more safety if having to lower spare wheel.

I dont know if the wheel is off centre or smack bang in middle but there maybe duplicate mounting positions all ready there. If wheel is off centre som fabriction will be required to point the winder into an horizontal position and use an extention on the winder.. mine is a motorhome without factory fittments for a spare wheel so aquired a winding mechanism and got a couple of brackets fabricated so i had to play around a bit. I think it is feasible with a little i genuity.

Wasnt sure if it was the other way round for left hand drives.
