Technical Motorhome satellite installation done DIY with a Star Wars touch 😂

One thing I’ve always wanted in my motorhome is satellite tv, but never wanted to pay out a few K on a new system. Found a working item on FBmarket place cheap, the seller had upgraded to a larger system and this was no longer required.
I was assured it worked and after wiring it up temporarily I had it working!
Fitting was easy, just prepping the roof to attach the dome & drilling a hole for the satellite cables to enter the van.
I had an old Skybox with card and after a bit of tinkering with the settings got it working fine.
The roof dome needed something and being a bit of a Star Wars fan there was only one thing to do ...
A bit of glue,paint & aerosol caps later and I had something that resembled R2D2, not a boring dome
Gets a laugh when we’re out and about, you don’t need an X Wing to have a droid on top!
