Motor engine cutting off whilest driving.

Greetings participants.
My fiat punto 1.3 multijet 2005 model short cutting and coming back ,it does not have original power drive. If it cuts off the cluster goes off immediately and later come back. It stalls the engine and by that time when it starts up it produces black smoke till it starts. After starting it may drive for less than 5 minutes stalls engine and idling at times it can be high sometimes it comes to normal.
I haven’t taken any action as yet and trying to gather some help.

Change the black cable that runs from Battery to Chassis to Gearbox

They can fail internally
