Not sure if this thread is in the right place, but will soon get told if not I'm sure .

My car is due for it's first MOT this May. Was just wondering if the MOT runs to the end of the month that it was registered in, i.e. Registered on the 12th, MOT runs to the 31st, or if it has to be done by the registration date?

3rd anniversary of registration date; also note you can get the MOT done up to 1 month beforehand & have the certificate dated to expire 12 months after the registration date anniversary, in just the same way as you can in the month before an existing MOT certificate expires.
