MOT during PCP period

Hi,

My 2013 500's warranty runs out in September, and it'll be due it's first MOT plus a service.. but my PCP deal will still have a year left (it's 4 years, and I'm planning to buy the car at the end). Do I have to take the car to a Fiat Dealer/Garage to have it's MOT, or can I take it to my local independent garage?

Ring the PCP firm and ask the policy.... Are you liable for repairs under the PCP? If so if YOU have to mot it get it done a month early so the warranty can pick up any costs that are covered and get not forward dated

the Warranty is with FIAT UK, technically the 3rd year is "dealer warranty"

So I would take it to a convenient FIAT dealer, let them MOT it a month early.., then service when due

any issues picked-up at MOT will still be a month within Warranty...
