No it's today afaik.
I couldn't make it due to the British GP at Silverstone.
Well there's three of us here, hoping a few more of you turn up!
you can get a few "extra's" who don't put there name down..,

At first, I thought it was a Mk2 -- and so it could have been me, spying on you... -- but then realized that it was a later version....

That 127 looks well smart what route did you all end up doing? We're there any good stops on the way for later photo opportunities.

I'll be honest, we went to Ironbridge and back! Pete went home as the 127 was playing up, the road from Ironbridge to Broseley was closed, and there weren't enough people to go for a proper drive! If we get more attendees next time we can go for a proper drive and call into a pub too. I'm going to set up a thread in the next few weeks in order to keep the MI:Shropshire meet a regular thing. And even though I am now Fiatless I am still happy to organise them, a lift is all I ask from one of you

Sounds like me when a friend of mine and I used to rally Minis (he drove, I yelled...) in the early 1980s, through Yorkshire, when we were at university.
You'll find my driving is a little more sedate, nowadays... -- so "In two hundred yards, please take the second exit from the roundabout..." will do me fine!

If your in the 750 its "In half an hour or two hundred yards (which ever comes first), please take the second exit from the roundabout..." :slayer:

That's a good idea bud, I have a feel that the Telford one would be a great regular.
Well it turned out to just be the three of us, but a good chin wag was had and some ideas for future meets. I managed a photo of the trio parked up in Ironbridge, the red Punto was purely coincidental

I was thinking earlier ( after Gadges query of the date..,)
that we ought to post / poll the dates + venues for the MI meets until Xmas,
as I've had several requests for repeat meets incl Monmouth

Well if I get an MI:Shropshire Meet Discussion thread started, we can throw dates and suggestions around at each other (no aiming for the face though guys, we're all adults here), and then once a date is *decided* upon we can then make a meet thread. The thread can be used to plan routes and grub stops, and also decide on the destinations. I like Telford as a starting point, being more or less the centre of the county with good motorway access and a services for those who have travelled far, and plenty of decent scenery and roads to enjoy those Italian Stallions on. Sound good guys?
