Technical Meta Security / Fiat Alarm/Immobiliser/Code problem

dear all, just purchased my first barchetta . Love it but....on first journey into work the engine just died, cut out and I rolled to a halt. Car starts first time no problem. It has a Meta Security system M99T2 and M36T2 alarm and immobiliser fitted, as well as the FIAT Code system.

I found that by disarming the Meta immobiliser after the car had ground to a halt using supplied emergency key, I could restart the car immediately and proceed no problem. The amber FIAT CODE indicator light also comes on on the instrument panel. Sometimes it stays on, sometimes it goes out after a second as it should.

However on a 30 mile journey this proceeded to happen a further 4 times. It seems that the frequency of cut out increases the further you drive.

Any ideas ? I have brown master key, two barchetta keys and two other Fiat keys plus the Code Card.

Have booked into nearest FIAT garage for next wednesday 13th so if its a simple fix would be grateful for any DIY advice before then.

FIAT dealer not a lot of help . Went to a specialist alarm company in Whitsable who are META agents. Disconnected immobiliser which was wired in at 4 different points on vehicle ( fuel pump and ignition two name two) . Problem solved for £65.

Hiya , An old thread to revive, but Ive just managed to create an issue.

after refit , rebuild of engine , relocation of battery to rear.

my ignition key code light came on at the dash and the B wouldn't start.

After good advice , using the spare red key , this managed to reset the key light and the B started. Happy Days !!

NOW ! all was well for a couple days until i began to pull fuses and relays to check for a lighting issue i have.
seems i have no power for any lights , dash, side, head, fog and even the rear. only hazzards work.

and NOW !

The key light is on again and B doesn't start. even with the red key the yellow key light remains lit .

could i have dislodged a fuse or relay and if anyone knows where exactly they are located for this.

any help , advice would be greatly appreciated and if the imobilisor can be removed out of the system if needed .

I have tried moving the cables of the imobilisor and the antenna to no avail

All good again, somewhere moved cables at the point behind the intake , black cover with three screws . Moved cables there and all seems well again, red key and all keys reset immobilizer and car runs.
