General Media player question

Repeat of Blue and me question but thought I specifically ask the bravo mob as were all very helpful on here arent we

The media player will only recognise 1 track on my 4GB flash drive / USB stick made myself a xmas folder as well as other album folders for trip down to see outlaws over chrimbo, all were working fine but left stick in usb port overnight started car next day it will only see this 1 song, checked stick when got to a pc but they are all there and it hasnt been fried so looks like the media player has locked up, any idea if I can reset it - all other features seem ok :bang:

what i think tadbravo is trying to say is to look through the forums to see if the answer is there before asking but lets let if i can help.

Instead of making 2 different folders and placing the music in them have you tryed making just the one folder then inside that folder create a album folder and name it what you want then upload the music in them. I dont have blue and me but i have just started using a fm transmitter connected to my satnav to broadcast the music over my radio and i had the same problem. but this did sort my problem out if this does not help let me know and i will see if i can find out how to sort the problem.

ok then 614cooker, i'll be nice.

Juliet's husband : forget what 614cooker said, the solution is to have another USB drive with a couple of mp3's that you'll insert for a few seconds when the problem occurs to reset the Blue&Me media library. Then go back to your 4gb drive and it should be fine.

it's a problem in the B&M media library memory, sometimes it forgets what files you have in the drive and needs to be checking another usb drive so that when you plug that first one again, it rechecks all the files in it.

what exactly am I supposed to search for "mediaplayer" or perhaps "blue and me" ? how many posts do you think that will bring up, maybe a few thousand
