Introduction

well about time i posted in here got it over 2 weeks ago its now lowered 40-40,14" oz racing wheels, 866 cam, new water pump, new gasket set, 81600miles on a 97 R reg and i am part way though planning a low blow supercharger upgrade aiming for around 110bhp
one of my friends the other week said he thought that my car looked like a nova at certain angles, i very nearly put him on his a**e lol then my other friend that was with us said "no, do you not think the front looks like an AX?" he did get hit lol

what a supercharger kit for the new 500 or the old one?????

to be honest i am still doing abit of reading up on it but it has gone on a total back burner while i turbo this one

eventually i want to have a high boost turbo and a high boost supercharged one and see which ones is the fastest and which is the more user friendly and maybe if the charger route goes to plan maybe putting together a kit for the fire engine

I thought Cinqs looked like a mk3 Fiesta squished sideways a bit, what with the general shape of the headlights, strip between the bonnet and bumper and slightly flared arches

hmm, what if you chopped a bit out of the middle of XR2i/RS Turbo bumpers, stuck them back together and put them on a Cinq...

mmmmmmm one prob with a TSi'ing a fire engine in a cinq

although if i do the front end rebuild i want to do then there would be lol hmmmmmm the mind boggles again
 
well here we are another small update and well the bonnet is now onto its third version since i have owned the car lol and guess what, its back to a standard yellow bonnet with NO vents lol

oh and yes incase you are wondering i am running with no airbox on at the mo due to the fact i am part way through modifing a one off another car readie for the turbo but i will put pics up of that when its done

well seeing as how the air box was sitting about 2inch higher than the bonnet no (plus the bonnet brace also causes it to sit higher)

well been driving around for a couple of days with no airbox and (no its not a placebo effect) the car is actually quicker and by a long way quicker, so that tells me that the airbox or airfilter were causing a ristriction as the throtle response seems alot crisper too and the engine is more rev happy

hopefully i should have the turbo airbox and mani made up this week end so fingures crossed it should be together next week and running low boost (aiming for 95bhp on low boost of 4-5psi)
 
Lol do you honestly think the amount of effort i am putting into making a custom TB top i am going to put a pair of tights over as a temp measure lol i think not i am only using the car if i have to until there is some kind of filtration on the air intake lol i will put pics up during the week with what i do
