maf sensor

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been asked before but didnt have much luck with a search!
If i want to change a maf sensor on my jtd will i have to get the ecu reset or anything.
I guess what i,m trying to say is by changing it over could it throw the engine management light on?

Hi,

I bought mine for £24 yes £24 !! Brand new as well.
It was just the "blade".

Is it a bosch one cos ive heard all others are pap?!

Hi again.

Well i dont know if it is bosch it was in a box marked "pro power" so a pattern part however some pattern parts are actually oem as was the case on my crankcase sensor.
This part was in a "interpart" box but was actually bosch.
To be honest i wasnt holding out any hope but 1500 miles later all is well, although that may change after another 1500 !!
I can supply a number of the motor factors if you want.
