It's been quite a while since I posted because I've been so busy what with deciding to get married, sell my house, move in with my partner, help her do her house up to sell and buy another house. Plus having a life and going to work of course.
Anyway, the upshot of all this means that there hasn't been a lot of time to spend on anything else. I have, however, had an opportunity to do a small amount of work on the Rat on a recent trip up North delivering Christmas presents.
As you can see from the pictures I have almost completed the front panel. It only needs the indicators and number plate fitting and the spot lights wired up. The spotlights are the ones that Alan D donated from his BMW, slightly modified to mount flat on the aluminium plates I've bolted to the back of the panel. If need be I can adjust the beam direction by just fitting washers as needed to the mounting bolts. (The front panel tilts forward slightly so all the lights will be pointing down too much I think. It might be easier to just modify the bolting points at the top of the panel to bring it more upright. I'll see when I come to wire all the lights up).
