hello,
i have a fiat 500 1.2 2010 from 3 weeks , from the fist morning that i have it its something that i noticed , when i try to start the car in the morninig ( -2 to 5 dg) the car make long crank and then starts.

Air Filter Sealing Gasket its a bit broken , is that connected with this issue?

if i leave for 4 minutes and if i repeat the same it starts with a half crank,
idle perffect
consumption nice
aceleration nice
the car runs very nice

ps , i feel that when the car is on idle if i open the window and close it in the moment thet is closed and i dont relase the button i fell some vibrations from the engine . is that connected ?

sorry i dont know much about fiat 500 ...

if you have any idea please let me know

have a nice day

No.

Possibly; it's the increased drag from the alternator in response to the electrical demand of the stalled window motor that's causing this. This causes a spike in the engine load and it's an indication that the engine isn't quite as responsive to changes in power demand as it might be. It could also be that the battery isn't strong enough to do its job of smoothing out these electrical fluctuations.

If it were my car, the first two things I'd check are the health of the battery and the condition of the spark plugs. After that, on a car of this age, I'd be looking at the coil pack and ignition leads.

Poor cold starting performance has been reported almost since the car first launched, and spark plug condition is known to be one of the things affecting this. Fitting iridium plugs has been reported as having helped.

Another consideration is the condition of the injectors; the fuel rail stays pressured after switchoff and even a slight leak into one or more of the cylinders will give you a wet start if the car's been left for awhile. But this is much less likely, so try the easier things first.

Test the battery voltage after standing overnight ! 12.4 v MINIMUM needed 12.7/12.8 desirable! -if low possible new battery needed!.
If ok check charging voltage next 13.8 /14.1 needed -also check voltage is maintained with headlights and air con switched on!, if these test are ok move on to leads and plugs!, i can say iridium plugs are much better, easier starts, better idle, and longer life!.
Can i ask at idle do you "feel" any vibrations through the drivers seat with the idle feeling "lumpy"? if so you may have one or more injectors on the way out fitting replacements cured those symptoms in my own car!.
