Hey all,
1st- as we all know that the Blue&me doesnt support the A2DP Protocol (which will make us listen to the music through the bluetooth connection) as i read it's a software fix not a hardware so it's possible to do very simple with an update from FIAT , and microsoft support it so far.
so i Suggest all of you to send an email to FIAT
http://www.fiat.com/cgi-bin/pbrand.dll/FIAT_COM/contact/contact.jsp
and make the kind of request (complaints) and tell them about this problem that we all face and let us see what they will do
thanks alllllll :)))

Congratulations on the initiative. Let's spread this to all FIAT car users.
It's looks like a complete lack of interest from FIAT.

I've done my part.

Did my part here as well!

It would be nice if everybody just spent a few minutes and write a request to Fiat. There is a slight chance that they will listen to the customer...

I've done my bit aswell.

Its bloody daft not to allow it, not only for the obvious music through bluetooth deal but the fact the Punto Evo has B&M TomTom which connects/sync's with the car.... but still, tomtom voices only come out of the tomtom unit not the cars speakers & i was also hoping my media playlist would show up on the tomtom screen aswell rather than shuffling through the dashboard display to find tracks & it doesn't, so i've added that to my complaint too!

It needs to show songs playing etc on the headunit for the memory stick and ipod playing song, not on the dashboard, who thought of that, should be shot, he he

Sorry guys but A2DP would definitley be a hardware issue. It's like trying to make an old mono tape recorder into a stereo walkman by putting the latest tape in it. It is just not possible at all. The hardware is different! :bang:

mine takes an ipod, no problem, it might be because it is a 500c from Dec 2010 ?. But i still don't like the fact that the usb music does not show on the head unit what idiot programmed it to do that?

If they only could update the windows mobile with drivers to a bluetooth USB dongle - then we could mount this to the USB in the car and be in heaven!!!

Anyone tried to Mod the Windows mobile software?
