Hi! Changed my driveshaft, all 4 discs, rotors and calipers. I also changed the lower support arm. I have now reassemblied my car but have a little plastic nut left. Does anybody recognise this part? Is it supposed to be on top off the ball joint as a dust cover?

I have seen these sat between the nut and seat on many (French/Fiat/Stelantis) track rod ends etc. They slightly impede the socket fitting over the nut when undoing, there is usually a groove milled in the underside of the nut where it sits so it doesn't affect the actual nut tightening the joint.
If you had a new support arm it probably came with a new nylock nut so the old nut and that plastic ring are probably not required.
If you find the old nut you should see what I mean.:)

Thank you. Could not find this part on the other side either, so guess its not a biggie.😃
