General Leeds – John O’Groats – Leeds charity run in a Panda!!

In order to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy in memory of a friend and colleague Jeff Vickers, I have set up a “Just Giving" page;

What am I doing??

A group of us are doing "The Dumball Rally"...drive an old banger non stop, costing less than £200 from Leeds to John O’Groats and back on the 2nd August.
The person who does it in the least time wins (whilst being safe and legal).

As I bought my Panda Colour nearly 9 years ago for £100 and it gets used nearly every day, it is the perfect candidate, just hope George (my son) and I can match Beswick the Panda!!

NO money raised on Just Giving is used to fund the event.

We will get some photos, the more time we spend doing photos, the more chance the others have of beating Bez to the finish line!

I spent this morning doing his front wheel tracking, and this afternoon giving him an Autoglym smile!

Bez the Panda did the trip from Leeds to John O Groats and back without a single issue! did about 1100 miles, stopping for fuel, food. Costa and driver swap. He was faultless, so stick that in your eye Fiat doubters!

Just worked out the MPG, not done it for years and had a shock....really must buy a modern 500 Twinair like the Mrs has, as I only got 50.86, where as her suoer efficient modern bets at least 42 MPG!!!!
