knock sensor torque

help ! i have just fitted a new knock sensor to my multpla 1.6 does any one know the correct torque wrench setting for the fixing bolt i believe this is critical for it to work correctly engine light is still coming on showing code for knock senor malfunction

ive always just nipped them up an they work fine.

crank sensors are non adjustable in most engines, as long as the sensor has been seated correctly then the bolt only need be nipped up to stop it falling out.

EDIT: misread that, Knock sensors are senitive to torque either though AFAIK, does your engine have more than 1 sensor? have both been replaced?

yeah checked and cleaned all them first mad no difference just nedd to know torque so i can check that and if that dont work im completly stumped

knock sensors very rarely fail, I suspect fault is elsewhere.
