Kit Car...

I've been thinking of buying a kit car for some time, I've seen the one I want and it will replace the ST as a daily driver.

The car in question is a GTM Libra.

I don't reach the grand old age of 21 until may, and i'm finding it very difficult to find an insurance company that will cover a 20 year old kit car driver.

So are there any kit car drivers here?? Or anybody know of an insurer that will cover me?

just wait till you're 25 before you get anything like that. it'll save you a few grand that you can spend on drugs and alcohol instead, which is far more important at your age.

I can do both, but I find it difficult to do it at the same time

talk to panda sport he the kit car expert. am sure he said to me they was cheap to insure

You can run all K Series engines in them. Or a honda vtec is available aswell.

I know one owner stuck a the VAG 1.8 20VT in his.


Insurance from adrian flux for a 20 year old (me) was £965, and thats with my accidents from three years ago declared. This was just a quote for the 1.4 version.
